When I was a child, my grandmother always made beautiful braided hair for me.
That time, my grandmother had dauer / permanent waves on her hair, and I always went with her to the salon. It usually took 2-3 hours or more by the time we were done.
My mother used a curler to make my hair beautiful.
In the late 2000s, I lived together with a hairdresser. I rented a room in her house.
In 2014, I had a blog on how to make yourself beautiful, where I also talked a lot about different braided styles.
Do I like all the hairdressers?
Nope...
As I do not like my second cousin, who is a hairdresser...
How did our fight start?
She invited me to her second husband's wedding.
Several years later, I invited her to my first husband's wedding, but we had ceremonies in several countries. So I invited her to the third celebration... where she could see pictures of my hair and makeup from the first party.
She was super jealous of all my parties and even of my hair...
But hey... I studied a lot about beautiful hair styling during the years... and I did my hair first, took pictures, then I showed it to the hairdresser, and she made it again for me for the wedding.
When I got married, I was already a certified nail technician as well.
So I like some hairdressers, I do not like some hairdressers.
Not every hairdresser has the same knowledge and the same style...
But taking care of the hair is important. Hydration, oils are important.
I also made the translation for my uncle's website, who has his own dermatology brand. Plus, in the previous times, the brand had special shampoos as well...
So many interesting life experiences, family stuff, and conflict or happy times...
Do you love your hair?
Hair is very important in Nordic Mythology as well.
Do you know the fairy tale / the story of Sif and her golden hair?
